COVID-19: 3 new cases and 1 further person diagnosed with the virus has died

The Department of Health has confirmed that a further one patient diagnosed with Covid-19 has died and there are three new cases of the disease in Ireland.

It brings the total number of confirmed cases here to 25,439.

Health experts have expressed concerns about the recent re-emergence of travel related Covid-19 cases in Ireland, and are urging Irish people to avoid international travel.
