Jonty Bravery (18) has been jailed for at least 15 years for throwing a 6-year-old boy from the Tate Modern viewing platform.
The 30 metre fall left the boy with life-changing injuries including a bleed on the brain and multiple broken bones, he remains in a wheelchair as a result.
Old Bailey judge Mrs Justice McGowan told bravery that “You had intended to kill someone that day – you almost killed that six-year-old boy”, adding that his autism spectrum disorder did not explain the attack.
Mrs Justice McGowan then made it clear to Bravery that “You (Jonty Bravery) will spend the greater part – if not all – of your life detained … you may never be released”.
