Investigation underway after a boy dies following a collision in Carlow

Yesterday, a 10-year-old boy was critically injured after he was struck by a 4×4 vehicle on the Ballymartin area of Borris, Co Carlow.

The boy was on his bike when he was struck by the vehicle.

The boy has tragically died in Temple Street Hospital as a result of his injuries.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage to contact them.
