Figures show that there was 459 less people in emergency accommodation during May

According to the Department of Housing, the month of May shows that there was 459 less people in emergency accommodation.

This is comparing the figures to April’s.

The figures are divided as such: There was 173 less adults, 122 less families and 286 less dependants.

Minister for Housing ‘Eoghan Murphy’ described the declining figures as “encouraging” and stated that “Significantly there are fewer families in emergency accommodation today than at any point in the last three years”.
