The financial impact of Covid-19 has lead to Dublin and Cork airports losing approximately €1 million since St Patrick’s Day.

The Chief Executive Officer of the DAA ‘Dalton Philips’ has stated that 750 to 1,000 jobs are to be permanently lost.

As the company downsizes, all staff including Mr Philips will be taking a 20% pay cut.

Mr Philips added that it would be approximately three years before passenger numbers return to normal.
