COVID-19: 4 new confirmed cases and 2 new deaths reported in Ireland

Two more patients diagnosed with Covid-19 have died and there are four new cases of the disease in Ireland, health officials confirmed this evening.

It means that a total of 1,717 people have died with the disease in this country and that there has been 25,383 cases.

The government has indicated Ireland is on track to move into Phase 3 of the roadmap for easing restrictions from 29th June.
