World’s oldest man ‘Bob Weighton’ dies aged 112

The world’s oldest man ‘Bob Weighton’ has died at the age of 112 following a battle with cancer.

The former teacher and engineer died peacefully at his home according to his family.

Weighton was recognised as the world’s oldest man in February following the death of the previous holder ‘Chitetsu Watanabe’.

His relatives stated that Weighton was “A role model to us all, he lived his life interested in and engaged with all kinds of people from across the world”.
