Man identified as ‘George Floyd’ dies after police officer kneels on his neck

Video is circulating on social media of 46-year-old ‘George Floyd’ being dragged from his car and pinned to the ground by two police officers in Minneapolis.

It was alleged that Floyd was using forged documents at a local deli.

After being dragged from his car, Floyd was handcuffed and appeared to remain calm in the video.

Additional footage shows Floyd lying on the ground with the police officer pressing his knee into Floyd’s neck.

Floyd is heard in the video saying that he can’t breathe and begs the officer to stop.

He lost consciousness and died later in police custody.

Protests are taking place in response to his death as a racist agenda is believed to be behind the incident.
