Investigation underway after two people die following a house fire in Dublin

An investigation is underway after two men lost their lives following a house fire in Drimnagh, Dublin.

The fire broke out in the Slievebloom Park area around 1:45pm.

The deceased, believed to be in their late 60s and early 70s, were discovered inside the house after the fire was extinguished by Dublin Fire Brigade.

Both bodies will undergo a post-mortem examination.
