Gardaí vow to increase patrols in north Dublin following random assaults being carried by groups of youths

Gardaí have stated that they will vow to increase patrols in the north Dublin area following recent attacks being carried out indiscriminately by groups of youths.

Gardaí believe that the attacks, that target innocent people, are being carried out by the same group of teenagers.

Only recently, a 16-year-old boy was hospitalised for serious head injuries that he received following an assault in Baldoyle.

An off-duty garda and his son were also attacked by the same group the day before.
