Air Corps helicopter door falls and lands near Dublin school

Investigations are ongoing after the rear door of an Air Corps helicopter landed on the surrounding grounds of Moyle Park College, Clondalkin, Co Dublin.

According to the Defence Forces, the helicopter was returning from a “life-saving mission”.

Nobody was injured during the incident which occurred at approximately 6pm yesterday.

An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
