At least 80 dead as cyclone hits Bangladesh and India


More than 80 people are believed to have died as the most powerful cyclone this century hit parts of India and Bangladesh

Labeled a ‘super cyclone’, Amphan tore down trees, electricity pylons, walls and roofs, while transformer stations exploded, leaving millions in darkness.

At least 84 people are now believed to have lost their lives.

The massive population is currently dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic also.
