Possibility of Premier League matches resuming after British government issue updated lockdown guidelines

Premier League matches in the UK could resume as early as June 1st after the British government issued updated lockdown guidelines.

Phase two of the Prime Ministers plan states that cultural and sporting events can take place no earlier than June 1st.

The games will take place behind closed doors however, for an unspecified period of time.
