Kilkenny-based sportswear manufacturer reopens to make hospital gowns and scrubs

Based in Castlecomer, Kilkenny, ‘IntoSport’ has reopened its factory to make hospital scrubs and gowns.

The family-run sportswear manufacturer reopened their business at the end of March and hired another five members to meet the demand for PPE amidst the Covid-19 epidemic.

This demand is being met with scrub sets coming off machines and into hospitals within 45 minutes.

The company is prepared to continue working for another eight weeks.
