Gardaí are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Dublin petrol station

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s following an armed robbery that occurred at a petrol station in Dublin yesterday.

The incident took place approximately at 4pm in Clondalkin.

The man was armed with a screwdriver and left with a sum of money.

Gardaí recovered the cash, the weapon and the stolen vehicle that was used.

The man remains in custody.
