PSNI officer injured after patrol car was rammed during a pursuit in Antrim

A PSNI officer received extensive whiplash injuries after his car was rammed during a pursuit on the M22 in Co Antrim.

The chase involved a blue BMW being driven at excessive speeds.

The officer signalled the driver to stop but was rammed off the road by the BMW.

The BMW was found abandoned on the Moneyknick Road.

PSNI are appealing to anyone with dash cam footage or who witnessed the incident to contact them.
