Donald Trump’s 2009 swine flu tweet proven to be fake

A screenshot of a tweet made by Donald Trump criticising Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s handling of the H1N1 swine flu pandemic in 2009 has been revealed as fake.

As well as criticising Obama and Biden, Trump also states that he would not have let thousands of Americans die.

The tweet was proven to be fake upon analysing its time stamp, ‘23rd of November 2009’.

Until 2017, tweets could not exceed 140 characters, however, this tweet does. An advanced search on Twitter also reveals that Trump made no such tweet on that day.
