COVID-19: Ireland’s death toll now stands at 610

The Department of Health have confirmed that a further 39 people have died from Covid-19 which has brought the overall death toll to 610.

The total number of confirmed cases has risen to 15,251 after a further 445 cases was reported today along with another 48 cases from the backlog of tests at the laboratory in Germany.

Dublin contributes to 51% of the cases at 7,379.

This is followed by Cork, which contributes to 7% of the cases at 1,028.
