Gardaí arrest a man after seizing €125,000 worth of drugs in Cork

A man in his 20s has been arrested by gardaí after seizing €125,000 worth of what is believed to be cocaine.

The man was stopped by the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit after he collected the suspected drugs at a wooded area in Fermoy, Co Cork.

Gardaí retrieved a number of boxes from the location which were found to contain cocaine.

The man is currently being detained at Fermoy Garda Station.
