Comedian Tim Brooke-Taylor dies aged 79 from Covid-19

Best known for his role in the TV show ‘The Goodies’, comedian ‘Tim Brooke-Taylor’ has died at the age of 79 after contracting Covid-19.

His agent confirmed the news with the statement “It is with great sadness that we announce Tim’s death early today from Covid-19”.

He acted alongside Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie where the three of them performed sketches as part of their TV show that ran from 1970 to 1982.

Graeme Garden lead the tributes with the following statement that he made to the BBC, “[I am] terribly saddened by the loss of a dear colleague and close friend of over 50 years”.

Tributes are being paid towards his death.
