Gardaí issue stern warning to public over the Easter Bank Holiday

Gardaí have stated that stern measures will be in place over the Easter Bank Holiday.

Anyone who is caught outside for unnecessary reasons will be arrested.

There will be checkpoints across the country.

Anyone caught breaching the lockdown restrictions such as travelling more than 2km outside your house, going to essential work, going to the supermarket or to the Pharmacy could be fined €2,500 or jailed up to six months.
