Gardaí are investigating two stabbings that took place in Kerry and Meath

Investigations are underway by gardaí after two people have been injured in two separate stabbing incidents that took place in Kerry and Meath.

The Kerry incident took place at Caheranne Close, Strand Road in Tralee where a teenage boy was stabbed.

He was hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries. One arrest has been made.

The incident in Meath took place at a house in Athboy where a man in his 20s was injured.

He too was hospitalised with non life-threatening injuries. A woman in her 20s was arrested.
