COVID-19: A further 28 deaths in Ireland with another 500 cases

The overall coronavirus death toll of Ireland now stands at 263 as a further 28 deaths have been reported.

The number of confirmed cases stands at 6,574 as a further 500 confirmed cases have been reported.

Chief Medical Officer ‘Dr Tony Holohan’ stated that 81% of those who have died so far had underlying conditions.
