Tipperary All-Ireland hurling winner ‘Tom Larkin’ has passed away

Described by his club as “a star in every sense of the word”, Tipperary All-Ireland-Winning hurler ‘Tom Larkin’ has passed away.

He played centre-forward on the Tipperary team which won the 1958 All-Ireland final against Galway.

He was laid to rest in Kilsheelan and is predeceased by his wife ‘Joan’ and survived by his sons ‘Eugene’ and ‘Eric’.
