Two men appear in court following two ATM robberies in Dundalk

Fergal Nolan (24) and Michael Muckian (29) appeared by video link at Craigavon courthouse this morning where they were charged in connection with the robbery of two ATMs in Dundalk.

They were charged with handling stolen property and possession of criminal property.

The two ATMs were recovered in Forkhill, South Armagh following a police chase.

The two ATMs contained an estimated €240,000.

During the robbery, two vehicles were set on fire outside both entrances to Dundalk Garda Station to slow down police response.

Both men were refused bail and will appear in court again on the 29th of April.
