COVID-19: A further 295 cases reported with eight more deaths in the Republic of Ireland

The Department of Health have reported a further 295 Covid-19 infections as well as eight more deaths in the past 24 hours.

Six of the patients who died had underlying health conditions.

In regards to their gender, three were male and five were female.

There is now a total of 2,910 infections in the Republic of Ireland as well as 54 deaths.
