Worlds oldest man ‘Bob Weighton’ turns 112th today

The worlds oldest man ‘Bob Weighton’ has turned 112 today celebrating his birthday in isolation.

Weighton told the PA news agency “Everything is cancelled, no visitors, no celebration. It’s a dead loss as far as celebration is concerned,”.

Throughout his 112 years of life, Mr Weighton has lived through the Spanish flu and the two World Wars.

As well as this, he is a father-of-three, has ten grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

He added that the World Wars were different to the Covid-19 outbreak because of the unknown element that surrounds it.
