Car company ‘Ford’ is working with 3M and GE to make respirators and ventilators

Car manufacturer ‘Ford’ has announced that it will be working with 3M and GE Healthcare to create ventilators and respirators to help address shortages in the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ford stated that they are creating a new type of Powered Air-Purifying Respirator.

The device will be made by using parts from Ford and 3M, these parts include fans used in the Ford F-150’s optional ventilated seats.
