Man due in court after woman was killed during a robbery in Killiney

A second man, aged in his 20s, is due in court in relation to the death of 54-year-old Jaqueline McGovern.

The 54-year-old was killed when she was struck by a getaway car during the robbery of a Centra shop at Barnhill Road in Dalkey last Tuesday.

The first man, Edward Andrews, appeared before Dun Laoghaire District Court where he was refused bail.

He was remanded custody until next week.

A third man is being questioned by gardaĆ­.
