The operators of a Colorado funeral home have been charged with selling body parts illegally.

The scandal emerged in 2018 when it was revealed to the public that the funeral home had been selling body parts as a side business.

The operators were charged with fraud and illegally transporting dead bodies.

The owner of the funeral home, Megan Hess (43) and her mother Shirley Koch (66) were arrested yesterday.

They offered cremation for $1,000 dollars and return the remains to the families but instead they illegally sold the body parts.

One report shows that the remains of a person was actually concrete. If convicted they could be jailed for several years.
