Limerick University could possibly remain shut until June according the university’s president ‘Des Fitzgerald’

The president of University Limerick ‘Des Fitzgerald’ has stated that it is unlikely that the University will open before mid-June.

He stated “UL is closed until March 29. Let me be clear; I expect it to be at least mid-June before we return and after this pandemic hopefully peaks”.

The college will most likely be used for a field hospital as health services are becoming overwhelmed with the coronavirus.
