All pubs in Temple Bar are to shut down with immediate effect

In an attempt to tackle the spread of Covid-19, all pubs in the area of Temple Bar are to close.

Meetings took place between owners, directors and managers of the pubs in the area where a decision to shut them all down was made.

This follows criticism made towards a video made last night showing hundreds of people in the streets of Temple Bar.

So far, 100 pubs across the country have shut down.
