Hotel used as a coronavirus quarantine collapses in China

Rescue operations are underway after the five-story Xinjia Express Hotel, being used as a coronavirus quarantine, collapsed in the Chinese city of Quanzhou in Fujian province.

The incident occurred approximately at 11:30 am (GMT) with 43 of the 70 people that were trapped being rescued from the wreckage.

Video footage of the incident is circulating online.

No deaths have been reported yet.
