Investigation underway after man dies following road crash in Limerick

An investigation is underway after a man in his 60s died following a car crash in Limerick.

The incident occurred last night on O’Curry Street in Limerick city when his car crashed into a stationery vehicle and hit a wall.

The stationery vehicle was not occupied at the time of the crash.

The man was pronounced dead in hospital following injuries that he sustained from the crash.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them.
