Google staff told to work from home amidst coronavirus fears

Google have told the majority of its staff and contractors in Ireland to work from home due to a staff member reporting flu-like symptoms.

The company is using this opportunity to test its capacity to have all staff work remotely in the event of Covid-19 escalating.

Most of Google’s offices will be affected except for its data centre and offices in Eastpoint and Sandyford.
