Mass coronavirus testing to take place in South Korea

Over 200,000 members of a secretive church are to be tested in North Korea for the coronavirus.

The Shincheonji Church of Jesus is believed to be at the centre of the outbreak in South Korea.

This measure has been taken following heavy losses in the financial market across Asia Pacific which took place on Tuesday as a result of the coronavirus.

Tokyo’s Nikkei is down 3.3%, Shanghai Composite has fallen to 2% and Australia’s stocks have fallen to 1.6%.
