Varadkar and Johnson to meet today for ‘detailed discussions’ on Brexit

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is to travel to England today to meet British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for detailed discussions on Brexit.

It will be a private meeting to allow both leaders and their teams to have what are described as “detailed discussions” about the process for securing an agreement.

The two leaders met in Dublin last month

Yesterday, Michel Barnier said it was currently not possible to find an agreement with the UK on the Withdrawal Agreement.

Todays discussions come as Brexit’s withdrawal is scheduled to occur in three weeks.
