WHO questions Tanzania’s handling of possible Ebola cases

The World Health Organisation has issued a statement raising questions about the possibility that Tanzania may be covering up cases of the Ebola virus.

There is a significant cause for concern due to the deadly nature of the disease and a regional outbreak that has been declared a rare global health emergency.

In the statement issued by the WHO they said that Tanzania’s government “despite several requests” has not shared any clinical data, the results of any investigations, or the contact details for people with Ebola-like symptoms.
